Thank you for joining us on the MIT Class of 1960 home page!

Our 55th reunion is coming! Plan to be with us June 4-7, 2015 at MIT, and June 7-9 on Martha's Vineyard.

See how the Class of 1960 Endowment Fund for Innovation in Education (EFIE), established in 1985, aligns with Recommendation 1 of the Institute-wide Task Force on the Future of MIT Education.

Here you will find information about the class, its philanthropy and leadership, plus an archive of Class Notes and helpful links to more information about reunions or annual giving.

Below is a photograph of 1960 alumni preparing to march in the MIT Commencement Procession at our 50th reunion in 2010. This was the largest gathering our class since our own Commencement in 1960!

Having passed this 50th anniversary milestone, all our classmates are now members of the MIT Cardinal and Gray Society, which has its own set of events during Tech Reunions each year.

Class of 1960 Fellows 2014 - 2016 awarded.

The Provost has designated Professors David Jerison and Gigliola Staffilani as the recipients of the Class of 1960 EFIE Fellowship for a two year term commencing July 2014. The award is in support of their efforts to bring MIT's Single Variable Calculus Course (18.01) to the MITx platform. Read about the project to see the full scope of the plan.
